Hearing Aid Recycling Program Centers
Lions recycle thousands of hearing aids a year that enance the lives of adults and children worldwide. Lions give many donated hearing aids to participating manufacturers who issue credit to the Lions for all useful parts. The credit value is then applied towards the purchase of new hearing aids for persons who have limited ability to pay. Other Lions send the hearing aids to hearing care professionals who refurbish the hearing aids and place them in a Hearing Aid Bank for future recipients with limited ability to pay.
Lions volunteers operate Hearing Aid Recycling Program (HARP) centers in Canada and the United States. If you would like to donate used hearing aids, please contact a Lions HARP center for further details. Many of these Lions foundations also collect usable eyeglasses.
